Soulregalia 10 years ago #1. Goldenglow estate was once the guild's sweetest deal. So i have an issue :\\ apparently there's a bug with the thieves' guild quest, loud and clear.
During The Goldenglow Mission In The Thieves Guild, I've Always Hated How Aringoth Is Inexplicably Crouching In A Corner Where You Cannot Sneak Up On Him.

He can be found in his chambers on the second floor. Goldenglow estate was once the guild's sweetest deal. After taking care of aringoth's safe, you will still have to deal with the hives at goldenglow estate.

To upgrade from 1.1, just overwrite. Doing so guarantees you won't be caught and it should be low enough damage that he won't be killed. Anniversary edition, unfortunately, seems to create.
Simply Wait For Him To Round The Corner And Head Down Some Stairs Nearby.
I've tried earlier saves, bringing/not bringing a companion, going/not going through the optional sewer, setting/not setting the beehives on fire first. Again, my sneak skill is always maxed out at 100 with all the perks selected except for the sneak attack damage multiplier perks (backstab, assassins blade, and i think the third is called the deadly shot perk.) Detailed walkthrough sweeter than golden honey.
